Domain in Romania:

Authorization for setting up: technical and legal document issued
by A.N.R.E., through which, at the request of a Romanian
or foreign person or legal person, this is granted the permission to
carry out or re-technologize and put into service electricity transport
capacities, electricity distribution and / or production of
electricity;
-
Electricity produced from renewable energy sources: electricity
produced by central units using only renewable energy
sources;
-
Renewable energy sources: non-fossil energy sources, such as the
energy produced by wind;
-
License: technical and legal act issued by Romanian Energy Regulatory
Authority, through
which, at the request of a Romanian or foreign person or legal
person, this is granted permission of commercial exploitation of energy
capacities from the electricity sector or to provide services required
for the coordinated functioning of
the national energy system, namely the electric energy
market;
-
Electric Network: all lines, including the support and protection
thereof, electrical plants and other electric energy equipment connected
therebetween. The electric network may be of transport or
distribution;

Network Operator: the distribution operator, transport operator
and system
operator;
-
Distribution Operator: operational entity that owns, uses,
maintains, modernizes and develops the electric distribution
network;
-
Electricity Market Operator: legal person providing trading the
amount of energy on the electricity market and determining the prices
for the next day. The Electricity Market Operator is OPCOM;
-
Green Certificates Market Operator – legal person who provides
the trading of green
certificates and determines the prices on the centralized green market
certificates. The Green Certificates Market Operator is Romanian Power
Market
Operator;

Transport and System Operator: legal person, license holder for
transport and electricity services system. The Transport and System
Operator is C.N. TRANSELECTRICA
S.A.;

Green Certificates Centralized Market: framework for development
the trading of green certificates between market participants, organized
and administered by Romanian Power Market Operator, based on specific
rules;
-
Green Certificates Bilateral Contracts Market: all bilaterally
contracts negotiated between producers of electricity from renewable
sources and suppliers of electricity for sale / purchase of green
certificates;
-

Price at Closing the Market: the price at which transactions of
electric energy are concluded for the next day in a certain area of
trading, on a given trading
interval;
-
Priority Production: the qualified electricity production of a
supplier / configuration for which there are granted preferential
takeover rights on the wholesale electricity
market;
-
Green Certificate: a document that proves the amount of 1 MW of
electricity produced from renewable sources of electricity and delivered
to the network. Green Certificate may be traded separately from the
amount of electricity associated thereof, on a bilateral contracts
market or green certificates centralized
market;

Electricity supplier: legal person, owner of a supply license who
sells electric energy on the electricity
market;

Annual Green Certificates Offer: the number of green certificates
issued for one year by Transport and System
Operator;
-
Compulsory Quota System: mechanism promoting the production of
electricity from renewable energy sources through the acquisition by
suppliers of compulsory quota of electricity produced from these sources
in order to be sold to
consumers. |
