With taller turbines, the necessity of higher wind assessment towers is increased. The aerodynamic and thin profile of the SCOUT 60 does not disturb air flow and does not create turbulence any more than the traditional tubular towers.    The SCOUT 60 Package will help you measure as close as possible to the wind turbine height with : 1 Anemometer at 60 Meters 1 Anemometer at 50 Meters 1 Wind Vane at 58 Meters 1 Anemometer at 40 Meters 1 Wind Vane at 38 Meters 1 Temperature at 3 Meters    This easy to install tilt-up tower comes complete with : Robust galvanized hinged base Ground anchors, dead man type Guy wires c/w yellow guy protection All required bolts and attachments with spares Lightning protection and grounding wire Full set of installation manuals Data retriever and site configuration software          Ice-rated polar certified !    Scout 60 Wind Mast is manufactured to withstand the harshest of conditions. The Scout 60 is easy to erect and dismantle and the length of his section permit an easy transportation.    The Aerodynamic and thin profile of our Scout series makes it the best tool to evaluate the wind resource at a given height. Strategic choices of material and configuration give to the tower the highest ice rating in its category.    The Scout 60 is warranted* for wind gusts as fast as 50 m/s (180 km/h) at top height from any direction without ice. The Scout 60 is warranted for narutally occuring radial ice accumulation on guy wires up to 22.8 mm. When icing is present (even lower than 22.8 mm radial) the maximum wind gust is 150 km/h (41 m/s) at top height.
